A student from USA branch came to Japanese Headquarters! アメリカ支部より生徒さんがいらっしゃいました。

We had a Japanese American student, Mari-san, from USA branch last night at Kongo-ryu Headquarters, and we practiced BO (Rysei no Kon / Shushi no Kon), SAI (Ryubi no Sai) and NUNCHAKU (Sakagami Nunchaku Sho.)

She learned Shito-ryu karate and Kobudo from her uncle at her hometown Nagasaki, Japan when she was a teenager.

Later, she started practicing Shotokan karate and Ryukyu Kobudo Kongo-ryu in USA. She comes back to Japan once in a year and practice Kobudo at the headquarters of Kongo-ryu style. 昨日は、アメリカ支部より日系アメリカ人の生徒（マリさん）がいらっしゃいまして、棒術（流星の棍 / 周氏の棍小）, サイ（龍尾のサイ）、ヌンチャク（坂上ヌンチャク小）を稽古いたしました。

マリさんは、幼少の頃より糸東流空手道及び古武道の手ほどきを長崎で受け、後に米国で松濤館流を稽古。 現在は、松濤館流空手と共に、琉球古武道金剛流を米国で稽古しております。
