Learn Traditional Weapons Online – Direct from Japan!

We are the oldest Kobudo dojo in mainland Japan!!

For centuries, Kobudo was kept secret. Now, with the power of Zoom, we’re opening the dojo doors to the world. This is your chance to study true techniques and kata — straight from their source, with expert Japanese instructors guiding you every step of the way.

Weapons Covered: Bo, Nunchaku, Sai, Tonfa, Kama, Tekko & more!

Let’s kick off every morning with Kobudo!

Eligibility: Open to both Kongo-ryu members and practitioners of other styles.
Completion Certificate: Participants who complete one year of training will receive a semi-completion certificate from the Ryukyu Kobudo Kongo-ryu Headquarters.
Kyu and Dan certificate: Individuals seeking promotion in Kyu or Dan rank may take the test online. If you are interested, please contact us.

- January : Shushi no Kon Sho
- February: Shushi no Kon Sho
- March: Sai Kata 1-3 & Ryubi no Sai
- April: Sai Kata 1-3 & Ryubi no Sai
- May: Shushi no Kon Dai
- June: Shushi no Kon Dai
- July: Tonfa Kata 1-3
- August: Nunchaku Kata 1-3
- September: Tekko
- October: Ryusei no Kon
- November: Ryusei no Kon
- December: Kongo no Nicho-Kama

Fees

Kongo-ryu Members
- Joining Fee: Euro 50
- Monthly Fee: Euro 100
- 3-Month Plan: Euro 280
- 6-Month Plan: Euro 550
Non-Kongo-ryu Members
- Joining Fee: Euro 60
- Monthly Fee: Euro 120
- 3-Month Plan: Euro 340
- 6-Month Plan: Euro 670

Note

Monthly fees must be paid on a continuing basis.
If payment is not made for two months, membership will be automatically canceled.
To rejoin, you must pay the registration fee again.

To those who practice Kobudo indoors:

For those who practice with a Bo indoors, we recommend using a shorter Bo, approximately 90 to 120 cm in length.
Also, instead of using real nunchaku, we recommend practicing with ones made of sponge or rubber, or even using a wet towel as an alternative.
