Ryukyu Kobudo Kongo-ryu Online Class

We are excited to announce the launch of our online classes via Zoom from July 2025!

In the past, Ryukyu Kobubo kata and techniques were considered secretive. However, with the development of books, videos, and YouTube, many have been introduced overseas. Still, it is questionable whether the correct techniques and kata have been adequately transmitted to kobudo practitioners abroad. Due to borders, language barriers, and other physical constraints, only a few have had the opportunity to learn directly from Japanese instructors.

To address this problem, we are starting online classes using Zoom. Through the online class, we will review how to use Bo, Nunchaku, Sai, Tonfa, Kama and Tekko... etc.

Let’s kick off every morning with Kobudo!

Eligibility: Open to both Kongo-ryu members and practitioners of other styles.
Completion Certificate: Participants who complete one year of training will receive a semi-completion certificate from the Ryukyu Kobudo Kongo-ryu Headquarters.
Kyu and Dan certificate: Individuals seeking promotion in Kyu or Dan rank may take the test online. If you are interested, please contact us.

Fees

Kongo-ryu Members
- Joining Fee: Euro 50 (JPY 8000)
- Monthly Fee: Euro 100 (JPY 16000)
- 3-Month Plan: Euro 280 (JPY 44800)
- 6-Month Plan: Euro 550 (JPY 88000)
Non-Itosu-ryu Members
- Joining Fee: Euro 60 (JPY 9600)
- Monthly Fee: Euro 120 (JPY 19200)
- 3-Month Plan: Euro 340 (JPY 54400)
- 6-Month Plan: Euro 670 (JPY 107200)

Special Offer: The first month's tuition is only Euro 60!

Monthly fees must be paid on a continuing basis.
If payment is not made for two months, membership will be automatically canceled.
To rejoin, you must pay the registration fee again.
